I am from Rochester, NY, where I put my electrical engineering and finance degrees to good use working for Rochester Telephone Company (RTC), spending most of my career as the general manager of a number of small independent telcos that were associated with RTC. In 1992, I started pursuing my other passion, real estate sales, on a part time basis. That same year, my wife Lyn and I visited Hilton Head Island and purchased a home in Sea Pines at South Beach. In 1996, while here for the winter as a "snow-bird", I began the second phase of my real estate strategy and became a sales associate with The Sea Pines Real Estate Company. We have 4 children and 8 grandsons, and we love golf and the other outdoor activities that are so abundant here on Hilton Head Island.
